


Tennessee School of Equine Dentistry
We are committed to provide the most thorough education program on equalibration and prophylaxis, requiring the highest standards for each level of certification.
Level 1 certification requires a total of 324 hours which include classroom, wetlab and testing:
ED101 and ED201 100 hours, 2 weeks of class followed by 25 cases of dental examination procedures and maintenance performed and documented with names and addresses before returning for ED102.
ED102 and ED202 100 hours, 2 weeks of class followed by 25 cases of dental examination procedures and maintenance performed and documented with names and addresses before returning for ED103.
ED103 and ED203 100 hours, 2weeks of class
EA100 24 hours, 3 day class Equine Head and Neck Anatomy may be taken any time after completion of ED101 and ED102 but is necessary for certification.
Tennessee School of Equine Dentistry provides a grading system for the practical aspects of Equine Dentistry. The purpose of this program is to provide students with achievable goals. These goals advance professionalism in the Equine Dental Practitioner. Essentially, good dentistry is educated dentistry, which is our primary objective.
